Kennedy Space Center
If you thought Florida's eastern coast was all about paying tribute to the main mouse, think again. They don't call it the Space Coast for nothing. With nearby Cape Canaveral shooting numerous assets into space to keep launch chasers on the edge of their seats, a double IMAX theater, rocket garden and superior space-themed play dome, the Kennedy Space Center is a great educational theme park experience for science fans of all ages.
Choose a one-day KSC itinerary, or spend two and include the Astronaut Hall of Fame. Either way, there's lots to see and do. If you have more than one day to explore, you can save money at the Kennedy Space Center with annual passes, which allow for savings on souvenirs, options for cheaper food and more time for the kids to tour the Kennedy Space Center at their own pace.
